Alan was born and raised in Toano, VA. He has worked exclusively in the HVAC field since 1983. His experience includes working for several local HVAC companies in addition to the Commonwealth of Virginia and James City County. He has a Master HVAC Certification and Master Gas Fitter Certification through the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation.

Alan always had a part-time HVAC business doing small jobs, but in 1992, with the goal of growing his customer base to start his full-time company, he started Owens Mechanical. In 2004, Alan took that leap of faith into his full-time business, Owens Mechanical. He changed the business name to Owens Heating and Air Conditioning Inc in 2015. Alan has always believed in the importance of honesty and dedication to his customers.

Alan is the proud father of Christopher and Travis Owens, and the stepfather to Michael and Chelsea. Like Christopher, Travis has also worked and shared his interest in the HVAC field, but now works on heavy equipment. Travis lives in Florida near the beach with his wife, Jule and two granddaughters, Reagan and Harper. Alan also has 3 grandchildren, Sofia, Giuseppe, and Giovanni, who affectionately call him Papa A.

Alan enjoys traveling with his wife, Lisa, boating on the local waterways, camping, and spending time with family. Alan and Lisa were married in 2020, and they have a wonderful blended family.

Chris has grown up working on HVAC systems, going on side jobs with his dad as early as 3 years old. He worked summers while in high school, and in 2009 after graduation, he joined the business full-time. In 2024, with hard work and dedication, Chris received his Master HVAC Certification.

Chris takes great pride in his work with installations and service calls. We have received so many great reviews because of his work. Chris plans to continue the family dedication to honest repairs and installations with unbeatable prices.

When Chris is not working, you can find him in the woods; he enjoys any type of hunting and fishing. He and Casey, his fiancée, live in Williamsburg with their two labs, Parker and Avery.

Lisa was born and raised in Williamsburg for most of her life. She began working for Owens Heating & Air Conditioning in 2015 and enjoys the family-based business. She worked in the dental field for 34 years and retired in 2022 to work for Owens HVAC full-time. Lisa handles all the office duties, including HVAC quotes for new installations and scheduling. She is also in charge of all the financial duties for the company.

Lisa loves to travel! She also loves boating, camping, decorating her home for the Christmas holiday, and entertaining friends with dinner parties and holiday get-togethers. She is affectionately called “Martha Stewart” by all her friends. Lisa is the proud mother of Michael and Chelsea and step-mother to Christopher and Travis. She is “Nana” to Sofia, Giuseppe, Giovanni, Reagan, and Harper. Alan and Lisa were married in June 2020, and their greatest gifts are their children and they love spending time with their blended family.

Casey was born in Williamsburg but raised in different parts of Virginia and West Virginia. With her family roots in Williamsburg, after graduating from high school in 2014, she moved back home. She has always enjoyed being able to help people, which is why she has always worked in a customer service-based environment. She worked at a local HVAC distributor in Williamsburg for 5 years, where she met Chris. As their relationship and Owens HVAC grew, they agreed it was time to make the leap of faith into the family business in August 2024. Casey is the shop manager, and with her expertise in parts, she coordinates all the ordering of parts for our service technicians and scheduling. When you call the office, you will hear her friendly voice.

When Casey is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing on the river, and occasionally out in the woods hunting. Most importantly, she enjoys being home building a life with Chris and their wonderful labs, Parker and Avery.

Greg has been with the company since 2016. He started in HVAC in 2000, working for a commercial HVAC company, and he transitioned to residential in 2012. We feel very fortunate to have him as a part of our team, and he is a part of our HVAC family. His hard work and dedication to the company is unbeatable.

Greg lives in Gloucester and is married to Lynne. They have two very busy children, Joel and Brenna. Greg is very much involved with the Gloucester Football and Baseball leagues, where he is a coach and volunteers his time. He is also a huge Dallas Cowboys fan! When not on the football field, the family enjoys time on the local beaches. Greg also loves to hike and fish with his “buddies”.

Sharon has been in the service industry for years, and we are excited about her joining our team. Sharon and her husband JC are long-time residents of Williamsburg. You will hear her friendly southern voice when calling to make appointments.

Sharon enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She has two grown children, Savannah and Jonathan, and one precious grandson, Ryker. When she is not working for Owens Heating & Air Conditioning, you can find her doing manicures and pedicures at her nail salon in Toano.
